In The Studio: April 2013

Brad Byrd is coming in to produce the Rick Williams rock.  Willie Alexander is identifying some radio stations.  Tom Hauck is putting the finishing touches on his second Bang-A-Song recorded LP.  Renee and Joe‘s album is being uploaded for mastering as we type.  The Instinct are melting the walls between their rehearsal and our recording studio. Jon Hardy continues to give voice to the Mexican Ape Lord. The Boyfriends are laying down two tunes for a five minute cassette to be released in the near future.

In The Studio: March 2013

Sonic Euphoria continue to chase their auditory high.  Inge Berge cut rhythm tracks for his Erika Van Pelt productions.  Tom Hauck stabs it in solo.  Jon Hardy makes the Mexican Ape Lord tracks sing.  Andrew Jones is stepping out from behind the kit to give the drummer some…songwriting and production credits.  Brad Byrd is nesting a song or two at Bang-A-Song.  Renee and Joe are one overdub and three mixes away from your favorite new album.

In The Studio: January/February 2013

Jon Butcher is wailing guitar and vocals for the long awaited third Jon Butcher Axis album.  Meg Griffin is bringing in Henley Douglas (HDR&B) for another Sirius/XM “Having Words with Meg”.  Kim Jennings is mixing her next full length folk rock masterpiece.  Joe and Renee cut their final basics for LP#1.  Time to mix!  Mexican Ape Lord are cutting slamming vocals to slamming tracks.  Geoff Small and his band of Night Trippers are recording basics featuring a Gibson pedal steel guitar from 1955.   Tom Hauck contines to refine one-man-band-dom.  Sonic Euphoria are continuing to carve their tunes in rock.  KBMG mixed a few longtime fan favorites that had never made it to tape.  Godchild began a luv affair with recording by cutting a rendition of “Wagon Wheel”.   Lisa Manning finished her latest album in record time.   Rob Garfield came up from Philadelphia to cut tracks to accompany his latest book release.

In The Studio: November 2012

The Leblanc Brothers are gonna enjoy overdubbing for the first time.  The Bandit Kings are in to mix their third studio LP….but this time it’s acoustic.  Eric Salt is tracking drums for his 1,287,352nd children’s session.  Lisa Manning is recording with her top-hat on.  Tom Hauck will continue recording no matter how the election turns out.  Renee and Joe are getting their debut LP quite a bit closer to you.

In The Studio: October 2012

Tom Hauck continues to crusade against Romneysia for immediate release.  Lisa Manning again pairs poetry with music for her second Bang-A-Song recorded LP.  Daniel Dye is coming in from Ohio for a third and final session for Miller Road’s next Long Player.  The Leblanc Brothers will lay down their first song in a long career of playing but not recording.  Geoff Small is gonna pedal hop like Dinosaur.  Bukshyesh are attempting to break Bang-A-Song’s SPL meters.  Kim Jennings got the piano tuned for her upcoming Eric Salt produced session.  The Mystix are coming in for a taping of “Having Words with Meg” on Sirius/XM.

In The Studio: June 2012

Harhay did drums for two more numbers destined for his untitled 2nd solo record.  Under Griffin’s Porch cut and are now mixing half an album side’s worth of tracks for a midsummer’s release.  Ricky Diamond is prepping a single.  The Savage Tanners recorded a three song demo.  The Mr. Fox record is in final o/d and mix prep mode.  Tom Hauck finished an entirely new track and two leftovers from his last record “Pistonhead” for the “Rosie the Rocket” three song single.  Satch Kerans finished a mix of “Kid from Gloucester” for radio debut on The River 92.5 this month to promote their show at the Danvers Fireworks with The Stompers and The Drifters.  The Loud Clappers are cutting later this month.  The Bandit Kings are doing a saxes down mix of their new single.

In The Studio: May 2012

Litehouse have laid down three more tracks of glammy groove rock. Tom Hauck (ex-Atlantics/Ball and Pivot) has been overdubbing on his second full length solo record.  Satch Kerans and band have started the follow up to their last record “Pieces”. What Time is it Mr. Fox continue to refine and define their next record whittling it down from 27 tracks in progress. Renee and Joe brought in Renee’s brother Dan Dupuis (Blues Yer Daddy/All Summer Long) to play drums on two new tracks for their upcoming LP.
