“The highlight of the evening was a version of Fleetwood Mac’s “Save Me a Place,” performed by the Goddesses, the Silver Ages, and Buried Beds’ Eliza Jones. It encompassed everything Pat Berkery enthused about in his introduction: a love of music, a sense of community, and making beautiful harmonies together.”
No rest for the Halloweenies: SAFETY will be at Mile Marker One to kick off Halloween weekend on Friday, October 25th starting at 8pm. The Cripple Cove Quintet featuring The Goddesses will be plugging back in for three electric sets at The Rhumb Line on Saturday, October 26th starting at 9:30pm.
When was the last time the CCQ + The Goddesses played on a Wednesday night? We were asking ourselves the same thing. Which is why we’re please to be joining Dennis Monagle at Minglewood Tavern for his Wednesday night staple: The Monagle Sessions. Three sets start at 9pm and end at midnight (09/12).
The Cripple Cove Quartet featuring The Goddesses will be making an appearance with The Bandit Kings, Russ and Ray, and more at the 18th Anniversary of the Rhumb Line Open Jam tomorrow. Come celebrate via Jam. Starts at 8:30pm.
The Cripple Cove Quartet featuring The Goddesses picked up a last minute gig at The Dog Bar in Gloucester tomorrow night (Saturday, April 6th). The Goddesses plus Ryan Alto, Geoff Small, and Pete Koeplin will be doing three sets of harmony-laden pre-Beatles and Pub Rock starting around 9pm. Shake, Rattle & Roll!
The Goddesses are excited to be helping out tonight at The Rhumb Line’s Open Jam for the first time in 2013. We’ll be joining Dennis Monagle, Renee Dupuis, Ann Marie Shimanoski, and Joe Cardoza for a little Rockin’ Pneumonia and Boogie Woogie Flu. Actually, considering flu season, let’s cancel those last two. Just a little rock’n’roll. 9:30pm.
Friday night (November 2nd) at Latitude 43, The Goddesses will pop in for a set with KBMG (and the better strumming half of The Goddesses will be on guitar all night, filling in for Dave Brown). Strum, shake, sushi, repeat (starting at 9pm).
